Burinsmith is the pen name I first chose years ago when first entering writing competitions; it is a combination of my birthplace (Burin, Newfoundland) and maiden name. As an expat it has an added layer of meaning, reminding me as I write of the richness of my own culture and history.
Here in Perth, Western Australia I write, and occasionally run creative writing courses, both in schools and for adults.
So the mysterious hit #41 has stalked your site, looked in the dark corners, and now returns to the world of lightness and joy.
